Heather Camp

Heather’s journey into yoga began at the age of 5 under her mother’s guidance and Yogi Shanti Desai. After moving to LA she became certified and continued her path opening Revive Yoga in 2006. Heather encourages her students to find freedom in their practice, flowing with the rythym of their body to cultivate strength and flexibility. Her classes are a blend of sweat, functional anatomy and mindfulness, integrating flowing movement to create a grounded connection to the body. Heather’s goal is to balance the spiritual and physical aspects of yoga, resulting in inner wisdom and radiant health. Heather’s influences include T. K. V. Desikachar, Srivatsa Ramaswami, Rod Stryker and Aadil Palkhivivala.

Amy Horsting

After several years in Europe, pursuing spiritual paths, Amy moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s and began more formal studies in Eastern and Western Astrology, Buddhism, I Ching, Meditation, Dream Yoga and the Yoga Sutras. She studied with Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche and Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, from whom she received a spiritual transmission. After attending the Precious Garland teachings given by HH the Dalai Lama in 1997, Amy began to practice moving meditation in the form of yoga and is certified through Rishi Yoga Institute. While committed to the principles of the Yoga Sutras, Amy continues to open her mind and heart through Hatha Yoga, exploring the sacred space where soul meets body.

Stephanie Winnard

Stephanie has been practicing yoga for more than a decade and is certified by the Aura Wellness Center, as well as having a Masters in Clinical Psychology. She has studied with renowned teachers such as Rodney Yee, Shiva Rea, and Cyndi Lee. Stephanie also spent 2 years in Southeast Asia where she traveled to India to further understand the history and culture of yoga. She is known for her original creative sequences and her playful eclectic style. Besides teaching, Stephanie is also dedicated to her family with husband Clifton and their two sons, Trevor and Taj.

Stephanie Hechtman

Stephanie grew up in Chicago studying modern dance, jazz, and ballet. After moving to LA, yoga was a natural progression for her. She became certified as an instructor under the guidance of Mark Blanchard. Stephanie has explored many styles of yoga and incorporates different qualities of each into her teaching. She strives to help her students gain the awareness of yoga, not just physically, but spiritually as well. Stephanie feels that regardless of what class she is teaching, it is her purpose to create an atmosphere that encourages her students to find a safe place to go within themselves and experience whatever they may find there.

Rick Feldman

With over 16 years experience in the health and fitness industry, Rick has a deep understanding of human anatomy and body mechanics. His dedication to the study and teaching of yoga is demonstrated through his unbridled passion to provide his students with guidance in all aspects of their practice. With a degree in Sports Industry from Ohio University, certification as a Personal Trainer and as a Yoga Instructor through Yoga Works, Rick is poised to evoke change through the art of yoga. His Mantra is B.A.S.I.C. – “Be Active, Stay In Control.”

Daniel Davis

Graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with honors, Daniel Davis teaches music to children and adults, and writes music for concert, film and television. His meditation practice began in 1986, and for the last 20 years Daniel has done retreat practice with many teachers. Daniel first began developing and incorporating his mindfulness training into his professional work as Program Director for the Jan Berry Center For The Head Injured. He continued implementing this innovative method of mindfulnessdrumming in several other organizations, including Promises Treatment Center, Bridges to Recovery, Juvenile Halls, and Drumming For Your Life. Daniel also teaches mindfulness and drumming to children at Growing Spirit and Innerkids, and helped develop the IKWiki for the Innerkids Foundation (an interactive, mindfulness website for children and those who care for them). Daniel has completed the Dedicated Practitioners’ Program at Spirit Rock, and is teaching the Basics of Mindfulness Class for InsightLA.

Jasai Madden

Jasai has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since the auspicious gift of “The New Method: Post-Natal Yoga” arrived at her door following the birth of her daughter in 2001. Initially at home and later at Golden Bridge Yoga Center, she found that the practice of Kundalini Yoga was not only changing her body but her life. Balance, Grace and the indispensable Neutral Mind are all gifts attained when one practices Kundalini Yoga technology. After nearly seven years under the stewardship of Gurmukh Khalsa and the gifted senior Yogis at Golden Bridge Yoga Center in Los Angeles, her journey has found her grateful to begin teaching here at Revive. She is chronicling her sometimes blue, yet beautiful experiences for an upcoming memoir entitled "Learning From Falling: Notes on My Journey to Becoming a Yogini."

Carol Weston
Carol discovered yoga after years of struggling with painful back and neck problems and refusing to settle on medication as a solution. Realizing the importance of a connection to spirit for balance and self healing, she focuses on the breath as an avenue towards union within. Each class is led with the intent to inspire a deeper connection and encourage a respect for the body's natural response. She continues to further her studies with Therapeutic Yoga, Senior Wellness and Children’s Yoga.. Her purpose for teaching yoga is to help people become stronger, more flexible, free, open, and grounded; ultimately to be more at one with oneself.
